This is such a great book and will be an invaluable resource for home buyers. You have created an incredible tool to help homebuyers in the purchase of real estate as well as the professionals who work with them during this process. However, I do have one major criticism, and that has to do with the title to the book. The vast majority of the book gives solid, practical advice and information on the home buying process and then right at the end, not that it’s not valuable, there are several chapters which identify strategies to find the best possible deal and give instructions and advice about how to do that. While this is also extremely important information, I think that by titling the book “Finding the Uncommon Deal” you are seriously short-changing what the book has to offer, which is SO much more. As soon as I saw the table of contents I knew that the book was not simply about finding the best deal, but about the whole home purchasing process and frankly, it is better and more thorough than any other book on the subject I have seen. So, I would seriously consider re-naming the book as I am afraid that it will be overlooked by those multitude of people who will not realize that the content is far and beyond “Finding the Uncommon Deal”. I think your old title was more well-suited to the content and I’m not sure you can change back but I would think that a broader title encompassing more of what the subject matter deals with would yield better results with your target audience. —Elizabeth Wade
