David A. Durfee practices in all aspects of commercial, residential and industrial real estate acquisition,
development, financing, leasing, workouts, foreclosures and disputes.
Mr. Durfee’s recent experience includes:
• Representing a developer in a $282 million acquisition and financing of land and preparation for subsequent
master planning and resale of parcels to homebuilders.
• Representing a homebuilder in restructuring a $20 million financing of land and subsequent master planning,
preparation of municipal development agreements, homeowner association issues, and resale of parcels to other
homebuilders.
• Representing the purchaser of a $10 million office building and the subsequent leasing and resale of the
building.
• Representing a land banker in numerous rolling option transactions involving multi-million dollar acquisitions of
property, construction of infrastructure, and creative option arrangements.
• Representing a title insurance company in connection with claims made under title insurance policies.
